Ninevahs strong holds are weak.

Nahum 3:14-15 Draw thee waters for the siege, fortify thy strong holds: go into clay, and tread the morter, make strong the brickklin. There shall the fire devour thee; the sword shall cut thee off, it shall eat thee up like the cankerworm: make thyself many as the cankerworm, make thyself many as the locusts.

I found this passage so amazing! Verses like these you wouldnt really think are that great. You see my Bible has little subtitles before a certain passage of verses. I named this post the subtitle "Ninevahs strong holds are weak" This passage really spoke to me. What I got out of this passage was even the meanest people even though they appear to be so strong they are weak. They are so strong on the outside yet so weak on the inside they seem like they want nothing to do with Jesus but inside thats what theyre yearning for they want something to help them out of this world out of this heart ache and the only thing that can help them is Jesus. Never assume that someone doesnt want Jesus or doesnt want help. I know never is a hundred percent work but in this case it is so vital that I use a hundred percent word. Maybe if you share the gospel with them they might just open up to you and get saved or maybe they will be a working progress but do you want to go up to heaven and stand before God and say "well God this peron just seemed like they didnt want you so I didnt try to help them" No nobody wants to say that to God. Honestly if we do that while were here on earth there is gonna be A LOT of red faces when we get to heaven. If you dont do something yourself how do you expect other people to do it? If you dont do it who will?

I honestly can't sign my name on the bottom of this these words are completely from God I just happen to be the messenger.

The cross

Ok so I drew this picture a long time ago. I drew this when my dream was to be an artist but then I realized Im not that great at art but thats besides the point. Now you see I have this thing I call my paper box and all it is, is a whole bunch of random papers (cards, church bulletins, poems, etc). In all of those things I found this drawing and I was thinking why would I draw blood coming out of a cross? I know Christ died on the cross for me and he shed blood but why would I draw blood coming out of a cross and not out of Jesus? I drew that when I was little and everybody knows that little kids have amazing imaginations. When you think about it the cross should be a symbol and everytime we see it we think about what Jesus did how he sacrificed himself for us and how much he loves us. ♥ So I realized that I being a little kid actually knew enough of the bible to realize that the cross should be a symbol and it should humble us. Just take a minute at the picture and dont think of how i messed up on this or that just look at it and think of what happened on that cross.

Bear eachothers burdens

So this week some people that are very close to me lost someone they love. I'm writing this post because even though who they lost someone I didn't really know I'm sad because they're sad. Ive been asking myself why am I sad if something didn't happen to me? I remembered today a verse in Galatians 6:2 Which says Bear ye one anothers burdens and so fulfil the law of Christ. We as Christians need to bear eachothers burdens and no it doesn't mean cry when your friends crying or be upset at the same thing it means When someones hurting, hurt with them. Pray for them and help them through their burdens. I think we as Christians don't do that enough when someones hurting we do feel bad for them and we tell them that we will pray for them but do we just say that? Or do we actually do it? If someone comes to us and tells us how much of a hard time they are having do we stop and pray with them? Or do we say well we will pray for you and not meaning to, do we forget to pray? Saying we will pray are words that get taken very lightly we need to say what we mean and mean what we say. So when someones hurting bear their burden pray for them and don't say you'll pray for them stop whatever your doing and pray with them. You might just make their day ;)
